Mood Swings

Mood Swings. Another unpleasant feature during pregnancy. One minute I'm smiling and enjoying everything, the next I'm irritable, impatient and want to cry. Doctors say it's caused by an increase of hormones. What do they know? I say it really depends on how you and your body is feeling. When I feel comfortable and not under any pressure I'm in a happy mood, but anything thats the opposite of that results in one P.O.ed woman! I'm sorry for to everyone who has to put up with me during this 9 month period.

Actually, you have kept your emotions and hormones under control very well for a little pg girl. So many big changes in such a short time! I'm proud of you and how you are handling everything!!!

ditto to what mom said, melissa! :) you are doing remarkably well!
i think it's a miracle that our bodies can make another little life inside- while we do other tasks and live our lives! i remember reading (preg w/ bailey) that at a resting rate, a pregnant woman's body is doing as much activity as a mountain climber. (hee hee. i love the visual here). after that, i'd regularly remind gar that i was busy climbing a mountain, or making ears, or a heart...
when you think of it that way, i don't know, it changes things and you think to yourself- 'yeah- there really is a lot going on inside- which explains why i feel like this!'
hope you have a wonderful day, melis!

Other than the occasional freak out, you seem completely normal to me. Haha. There so haven't been any freak outs. At least none that I have seen or heard of...

Hey guess what?! I just got your thank you notes in the mail today!!
